![]() I don't want my whole computer audio to go to the virtual input, just a specific thing. The sound is going out from the mixer, using the Master 2 output, to an external amplifier (Pioneer A-20) using RCA cables as well. This Hub is then connected to my laptop via USB. All these devices are then connected to an USB Hub. In other words, isolate the virtual input from the hardware output. A DJM 450 mixer connected to two CDJ's via RCA cables. So in summary, this is what I want to do: take my output from the DAW as a virtual input, feed that to my matlab app, and then my matlab app simply plays the sounds it has to play. Matlab stops this by simply not allowing me to open the sound device in order to write my desired output. As the output of my PC is taken as a virtual input, anything I try to output will be fed back to the input, creating a closed loop. ![]() However, here's where my understanding of voicemeeter reaches its limits. So far so good, now I have the sound from my DAW as an input I can use in matlab. My initial idea is to use the voicemeeter virtual input in order to route out the DAW. My initial problem: I'm working on a matlab application that has to take two separate audio inputs, one being a microphone and the other being the sound coming from my DAW. I just started using Voicemeeter, but after reading several guides I'm still not sure how it works.
